PAPER EMBOSSING

To create the works below I placed either a woodcut or objects upon the press bed, positioned paper over on top and then covered each assemblage with a felt blanket. I then ran these small stacks through the printing press at high pressure, thus either stretching the paper's surface to become raised (embossing) or sunk (debossing).
